Within New Jersey is our beloved county of Hunterdon. Originally settled by the Lenni Lenape Indians, and established in 1714, Hunterdon represents 437 square miles and features a population of approximately 125,000, as of 2015. The county received its name from one of New Jersey's colonial Governors, Robert Hunter.
